Intersections are said to be the busiest areas on the road. It is also a point where accidents often occur. Most of the chaos or accidents occurred often caused by not following traffic rules at the time of “red light”

• Parking beyond the stop line : When you use a turn lane for other than its intended purpose, you could risk collisions and obstructing traffic. As a result, the car may crash and even severe injuries. It also obstructs the crosswalk as well.

• Park near trucks-trailers : there may be a collision because it's a hidden corner that trucks-trailers may not see.

• Uses of mobile phone : causing a distraction from riding and not concentrating on surrounding perception and may not be able to respond to critical situations in a timely manner.

• Crossing a red light : There may be a collision with a vehicle riding from another lane.

• Ride into another lane to avoid getting stuck at a red light : There may be a collision from a vehicle in the lane that drives into it and it may also be bumped into a car that driving from another lane.

 

From the aforementioned behavior, it’s considered a risk behavior that being dangerous when stop at a red light. We should be more careful and avoid those behaviors to prevent possible injuries. Moreover, it can help to reduce accidents at intersections.
