“CAFÉ RACER” originated among British motorcycle in the 1950s when rock and roll was very popular among British teenagers. It originated from truck drivers who like to sit and relax at coffee shop and see teenagers bring motorcycles to race on the streets. When all the young racers come back to the shop, they are often insulted by truck drivers saying that they are not real racers, just a racer in a coffee shop. So, the young racers at that time came up with an idea and take that insult to name the style of the motorcycle they decorate and ride. 
Because Café racer styling is used to race on the road, so it is focused on light weight. Unnecessary parts will removed, such as the side battery cover?, fenders and also try to make the body look squat and aerodynamic as much as possible by cutting the seat and fit only for one person. The “TRACKER” originated in America in the 1910s. It comes from the motorcycle racing known as Flat Tracking which involved racing on a circle or oval track. Originally, the pitch was covered with planks until 1920s the track was converted from planks to dirt tracks for the safety of racers. As a result of change, the tournament became more popular until the arrival of World War II that drove everyone in the country to focus on war. However, when the end of the war. Flat Tracking regained its popularity until now. 
This tracker motorcycle comes with the designs that make it look and operate like a flat-track racer bike. It has a small fuel tank, high handlebars, a long solo seat, high tube, and use the off-road tires. The above is a modern styling for normal road driving. However, for for a traditional custom, there must be a number plate on the side of the car and must remove the shock absorbers, front brakes and lights to make the motorcycles as light as possible for the race.







The “SCRAMBLER” originated in England in the 1920s, British motorcyclists became fed up with regular street racing. So, they came together to create a new kind of competition which is more challenge and raw with a rough rule. Instead of racing upon a specific route, they were tasked with simply making it from point A to point B, in the shortest possible time. They can use any routes or customize the motorcycle whatever they want to reach the destination as quickly as possible. From this kind of the competition, the Scrambler style motorcycle was born.
A common feature of traditional scrambler motorcycle is versatile because it can be used an on-road or off-road. The design with high exhaust pipe for riding in deep water, using off-road tires, and the components are light weight. However, the engine needs to be powerful enough to thrive in the tough terrain. “BRAT STYLE” originated from motorcycle shop in Kita, Tokyo in 1998. The creator of Brat style motorcycles is Go Takamine. He started turning out bike after bike, crafting each with his unique style and importantly, it can be fun to ride. With this distinctive identity, he caught the eye of two big manufacturers such as Yamaha and BMW to help to customize the new motorcycles that are about to be sold and making Brat style motorcycles widely known. Until today he ran his shop out of his one-car garage in America.
The term “Brat Style” is derived from the name of Mr. Go Takamine's custom motorcycle shop, “Brat Style”. A distinctive feature of the Brat Style motorcycle is a fairly regular shape consisting of a lowered rear, small front headlight, the seat is generally flat. As for the handlebars, it can be any type, as long as it comfortable and don't force your body.







“BOBBER” first appeared to the world in 1920 at the launch of the new Harley Davidson motorcycle. Later in the 1930s, 2 motorcycle company such as Harley and Indian produced motorcycles according to the “Cut Down” trend which focuses on remove unnecessary parts to reduce weight. The first part that remove is the front and rear fenders. The Cut-Down trend is becoming more and more popular. As a result, motorcycle makers such as Harley, Indian and Triumph have adopted these trends back to the next generation of motorcycles, making the Bobber a mainstream custom motorcycle styling.
A distinctive feature of Bobber motorcycles is to remove unnecessary parts such as the front and rear fenders. Some even removed the lights and mirrors. The frame has been lengthened and the seat tube was lowered and the wheelbase shortened. The passenger seat is cut off or made as small as possible, make it like a solo rider seat.







The first Choppers were built in America, when soldiers returning from World War II and began modifying motorcycle. They said the bikes they had driven in the war were much lighter, sleeker, and more fun to ride although Bobber motorcycle were available but they weren’t sleek enough. The ex-military men began "chopping" or "chop" their own motorcycles by removing the unnecessary parts and being more radically modified. The Chopper style is really well known from the movie Easy Rider released in 1969 and then Chopper motorcycles are officially born into the world.
The appearance of the Chopper is very similar to the Bobber, except that it is more remove the unnecessary parts. Chopper is a step above the Bobber, shock absorber is extra-long, the handlebars are made extra high and the important thing is the solo rider seat.







“BAGGER” is a motorcycle similar to a touring motorcycle. It was built or modified for long-distance riding purpose which Harley Davidson is a motorcycle that’s very popular to be customized as a Bagger due to the high-powered engines. Some Harleys are built into the Bobber which already has a long body structure. So, there is no need to change much in structure. However, other motorcycle can be modified to Bagger style like BMW or other high CC motorcycle.
The main important of Bagger motorcycle is the powerful engine because this type of motorcycle designed for touring. There are large side pockets for carrying luggage, have front and rear fenders and have a large displacement fairings and windshields that offer a high degree of weather and wind protection. The front wheel must be larger than the rear wheel and most importantly, the handlebars and the upright seat must be in comfortable position for a long-distance riding.







“RAT BIKE” is very different from other custom motorcycles with the concept of spending money at least on customization and focus more on the joy of riding. The Rat Bilk trend began in the 1960s, when the American economy was deteriorating. As a result, people are trying to cut down on luxury spending. However, the time that Rat Bike was really widely known is the late 1970s to the early 1980s due to the media on television and magazines related to motorcycles.
From the above concept, Rat bike can be made into any shape of motorcycle and it have been deliberately styled to look old-fashioned, rarely wash or clean. Parts are hand-made, not a set that came out of the factory. All of this must come from the intention of doing it because if it is a motorcycle that is old by time or old as in condition the car will be called a Fakerat instead.
